HNH Hospitality: preliminary figures for 2022 record revenue that has more than doubled compared to the previous financial year

Overall operating revenue of over 71 million and EBITDA of 8.7 million, with the City Hotel segment growing strongly.

The Board of Directors of HNH Hospitality S.p.A. approved the provisional balance sheet for the financial year that closed on 31 October 2022, recording overall operating revenue of 71.4 million euro, which has grown by 105% compared to the previous year (34.8 million).
The EBITDA recorded by the HNH Group reached 8.7 million euro, a sharp increase compared to 3.5 million in 2021. These results were made possible thanks to an increase in the Occupancy Rate, which grew from 41.3% in 2021 to 64.2% in 2022, as well as an increase in the Average Daily Rate, which rose from 133.80 euro to 143.00 euro in the same period.

With regard to diversification, HNH Hospitality offers three different categories of structures: Business Hotels, City Hotels and Luxury Resorts.
The preliminary figures of the Group show significant growth above all in the City Hotel market, the segment HNH has increased the most during 2022, which is now 47% of overall turnover, due to the increase in business at the structures taken over during 2021.

In 2022, The Group’s business expanded further with the opening of Almar Giardino di Costanza in Sicily in May. Instead, more recently, the new management of Timi Ama, Luxury Resort in Villasimius in Sardinia, also under the Almar brand, will kick off in January 2023. Thanks to this new opening, the Resort segment, which made up 25% of turnover in 2022, will reach 40% in 2023.

In 2022 the Group, although penalized by a first semester still negatively influenced by Covid, recorded an extraordinary three-digit growth, doubled revenue since the previous year, confirming the strong recovery in the 2021 financial year after the sharp drop recorded in 2020. These figures prove that the courageous choices made during the pandemic are now rewarding us” – commented the CEO, Luca Boccato – “For 2023” – continued Luca Boccato – “we trust in continuing this growth, also thanks to the decision to further differentiate our offer with the new management of Almar Timi Ama, a structure that permits us to strengthen our position in the five-star Beach & Sun Resort segment with a new location in Sardinia”.
