2012: Hotels’ total revenues up 14.2 mln Euro (+6.8%)

H.n.h. has announced its financial results for 2012.

The Group, which manages seven 4-star Hotels in five destinations, for a total of 559 rooms, recorded in 2012 an overall turnover of 14.205 mln Euro, marking a 6.8% increase from results in 2011, when the company reported total revenue of 13.302 mln Euro.

The 2012 financial performance is even more impressive considering that the turnover had already shown a substantial increase in 2010 and 2011 (+46.9%) and that the new openings of Quid Trento, Quid Mestre and Adriatic Palace Hotel took place in 2010.

Revenue growth in 2012 was driven by an increase both in occupancy rates, which rose from 69.3% in 2011 to 71.1% in 2012, and average daily room rates (A.D.R.), which showed a 1% increase between 2010 and 2011. Overall the average rate reflected only a slight increase due to the general economic conditions which weighed on the average selling price, especially in the business segment.

An analysis of turnover growth by product segments clearly indicates that the Leisure segment, which includes the Hotels in Jesolo and Venice, shows a more stable trend between 2011 and 2012. The Business segment, on the other hand, recorded the highest growth with an increasing turnover of 12.2% over the two year period. For 2013 The H.n.h. Group foresees a 4% total revenue increase with a turnover close to 14.8 mln Euro. According to estimates, the growth forecast for 2013 would result from an increase in the A.d.R. by 4.3% and a decrease of the occupancy rate by 0.2%.
