The group is gearing up to reopen its seaside and city hotels ahead of summer 2020
The group HNH Hospitality, among Italy’s leading independent hotel operators, has announced the dates they will reopen their 4- and 5-star structures, in arts cities or tourism-oriented places. In addition, the group confirms the reopening of the recently acquired Grand Hotel Des Arts Verona, and the inauguration of the DoubleTree By Hilton Rome Monti within this year.
“We’re ready to welcome guests between May and June – says Luca Boccato, CEO of HNH Hospitality– “After reopening the Best Western CTC Hotel Verona on 11 May, the hotels in Bologna, Padua and Trieste reopen on 18 May, targeting demand for arts cities and the business segment. The seaside resorts in Jesolo will follow by mid-June and then finally the other structures of the group”. Boccato continues, “We have already implemented the safety measures set forth by the current regulations in force, while we wait for new Ministerial decrees and clarification on inter-regional mobility. Regarding bookings, we have seen some of signs of recovery from Italy and abroad, in particular Germany and Austria. It’s very unlikely this summer will be in line with previous expectations, but reopening is a positive and important sign we want to give our collaborators and clients”.
Apart from setting the dates of the new season, HNH Hospitality has two other announcements for 2020: the reopening in June, under the new brand Hotel Indigo, of the Grand Hotel Des Arts in Verona, which has already undergone a restyling and upgrade of 62 rooms, and the inauguration by the end of the year, barring delays due to Covid-19 closing building sites, of the DoubleTree by Hilton Rome Monti, with 133 rooms, including 8 suites, in Piazza dell’Esquilino in the heart of the Eternal City.
The group has prepared a safety protocol for all the structures, with a series of new procedures in line with WHO directives, including a Covid-19 manager for each structure, in charge of disinfection operations of all spaces, social distancing signage in common areas, managing the spaces and flow of people entering and exiting the restaurants, changing the menu from buffet to à la carte, and assigning rooms, for example favoring ones that have not been used for 72 hours. Moreover, in order to accommodate for the uncertainty of this period, HNH is promoting specific tools and measures, including vouchers that let clients change their reservation dates, ensuring flexibility for 12 months in all the structures, and free cancellations within 48 hours.
