HNH Hospitality has reached an agreement with the Frizzera Stefenelli family to take over the management of the Grand Hotel Trento, a historic symbol of hospitality in the city, marking a new phase of development and strategic growth for the prestigious hotel in the capital of Trentino.
Located in the heart of Trento, the Grand Hotel will continue to operate under its historic name, “Grand Hotel Trento,” preserving its identity, positioning, value, and tradition. HNH Hospitality is taking over the property and management of the hotel, while ownership of the property remains entirely with the Frizzera Stefenelli family.
The hotel has 136 rooms, designed to ensure maximum comfort, a large conference center, and a restaurant, offering high-quality services to satisfy both business travelers and tourists. Thanks to its unique location and management by HNH Hospitality, the Grand Hotel is preparing to usher in a new era in the hospitality sector in the Trentino region.
The Grand Hotel Trento is part of the extensive portfolio of hotels managed by HNH Hospitality, marking the Group’s entry into a new region that consolidates its presence in Italy. The transaction represents an important moment in an equally significant year for HNH, which has already announced several strategic projects aimed at expansion and innovation in the hotel sector.
«This transaction, emphasizes the Frizzera Stefenelli family, is the result of a carefully considered, long-term decision: we wanted to entrust the Grand Hotel Trento to a leading group that could accompany it into a new phase of growth, preserving its prestige and centrality for the city, while maintaining ownership of the property.»
“Becoming part of the history of the Grand Hotel in Trento means that HNH Hospitality is consolidating its commitment to hotel excellence and opening up new prospects in a key region. This announcement is part of a 2025 growth plan, characterized by the launch of several strategic projects, confirming our desire to combine tradition, innovation, and quality in the hotel sector ” adds Luca Boccato, CEO of HNH Hospitality.
The agreement is a shared development project and a strategic industrial choice, aimed at enhancing the Grand Hotel Trento, strengthening the city’s tourist offer, and raising the quality of services, generating positive effects on Trento’s tourism system.
