The H.n.h. Group, that with the upcoming opening of the Tower Hotel in Bologna expands its portfolio to 11 properties located in major cities of art and seaside resorts in Northern Italy, confirmed its profitable growth in 2015, after reaping the benefits of the new openings and acquisitions that characterized the last few years.
The fiscal year 2015 recorded a total turnover of 29.5 million Euros, a 23% increase compared to 2014, which closed at 24.1 million.
A significant contribution was brought by the newest additions (BEST WESTERN CTC Hotel Verona that joined the group in July 2013 and Almar Jesolo Resort & Spa, the Group’s first 5-star Hotel that opened in May 2014), which started operating at full speed during the fiscal year just ended.
As for the sales key performance indicators, the occupancy rate shows a 5.3% increase, from 67.7% in 2014 to 71.4% in 2015. The A.d.r. (Average Daily Rate) confirms the steady growth shown in recent years with a 9.2% increase, rising from Euro 103.51 in 2014 to Euro 113.00 in 2015.

The aggregate data for the hospitality services provided show a 14.7% increase in rooms sold, with number of guests exceeding 381.000.
“ In 2015, after a few particularly challenging years characterized by new openings and the launch of new Hotels, we delivered results beyond our best expectations. “ says Luca Boccato, Group CEO. “Almost all of our hotels achieved considerable growth in 2015, often thanks to an increase in prices and not just in occupancy. This will allow us to close excellent balance sheets with increasing profit margins. We believe this growth can be further bolstered, on a consolidated basis, even in 2016, despite a less homogeneous trend among the different destinations.”
“ In 2015 – concludes Luca Boccato – we also closed the deal for the lease of a new Hotel in the capital of Emilia Romagna, the Tower Hotel in Bologna. Thanks to this new strategic acquisition, we estimate for 2016 a total turnover exceeding 32 million Euros.”
