The prestigious HNH Hospitality resort opens the summer season on 28 May and donates 100 vouchers for free stays to Jesolo Covid Hospital health workers
Heralding a summer marked by vacationing in sunny Italy, Almar Jesolo Resort & Spa, elegant 5-star resort of the HNH Hospitality group, is gearing up to inaugurate the new season on 28 May. Boasting 197 rooms and suites, 2 restaurants and 2 bars, the award-winning Almablu Spa and numerous tailored services, Almar will reopen with all health and safety measures in place to ensure a carefree vacation for families, couples or friends on the Jesolo lido.
“Today, more than ever, we want to guarantee a pleasant and relaxing vacation for all our Guests, as well as those who have tirelessly worked for our health in this period – says Luca Boccato, CEO of HNH Hospitality – In fact, we have decided to donate 100 vouchers for a two-night stay for two Guests to the health workers of the Covid Hospital in Jesolo for the 2020 season”. Boccato continues: “A small gesture of gratitude for those, who, through their work and professionalism, have saved many lives and have now enabled us to look to the future with restored confidence”.
“The hotel will follow the Group’s safety protocol and will also adopt specific measures” – says Igor Chinellato, General Manager of Almar – “We have appointed a Covid Manager, and ensured disinfection operations of all spaces, social distancing signage in common areas, managing the spaces and flow of people entering and exiting the restaurants, an à la carte menu that can be conveniently consulted from your smartphone – in the official website – or from our tablets available at the resort , disinfected after each use, as well as assigning rooms that have not been used for 72 hours.” – He concludes – “The structure is equipped with very large indoor and outdoor spaces, ideal for maintaining social distancing and guaranteeing privacy and relaxation, in true Almar fashion”.
Among the measures Almar has chosen is a partnership with Dr. Vranjes Firenze, a leader in olfactory decor and aromatherapy sector since 1983, founded by the chemist, cosmetologist, pharmacist and nose Paolo Vranjes, who, in order to face the Covid-19 emergency, decided to dedicate part of his Florentine laboratory to the development of an exclusive hand-sanitizing gel scented with some of his most world-renowned fragrances. The product, ready to use at the hotel for Guests and Staff, is a sophisticated hand sanitizer, a sign of the particular attention to quality in the search for prestigious products. The Spa Staff will also use this product to disinfect their hands before and after each treatment and it will be part of the courtesy kit in each room.
Regarding the SPA, all treatments will comply with the decree set forth for beauty centers, such as disinfecting all areas, all operators wearing a mask and visor, and back massages will be preferred in order to avoid direct contact with Guests. Staff will change uniforms after each treatment and appointments will be organized with a 30-minute break between them so operators can change, disinfect their hands and equipment, as well as the cabins. Instead, the wet area of the spa will be closed in the summer months.
On the beach, inside the Manzoni Beach Club, the distance between one umbrella and another, both horizontally and vertically, will be over 5 meters, therefore much more than set forth by the ministerial decree. The umbrellas will be equipped with a table for food and drink service on the beach, as well as more privacy and comfort for Guests.
Initially, respecting the social distancing protocols in the various areas of the resort will result in accommodating fewer Guests so we can guarantee rooms are not occupied for 72 hours before a new Guest arrives. In addition, each room is equipped with a large outdoor balcony furnished with chaise lounges and sofas for the tranquility and privacy of our Guests. Room cleaning procedures entail disinfection with proper products and particular attention to surfaces contacted most.
With regard to food and drink, at breakfast the various dishes will be served in sealed single-portions, even homemade items such as cakes, muffins, fruit salads, etc. There will be a large show cooking area with specific personnel and an à la carte set breakfast menu to explore the flavors of international cuisine, including Japanese, Chinese and Russian dishes. The preferred place for lunch and dinner will be the spacious outdoor area, with three new shade sails to provide more freedom and space among the tables.
Sport activities will be available with personalized courses. Almar wellness activities include Pilates, Postural Gymnastics, Tai Chi, Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and Meridian Stretching courses upon booking for maximum 3 people at a time. The large swimming pool (70×15 m) will be treated according to the ministerial decree and Guests will be ensured the adequate social distancing space.
