The H.n.H. group aims at promoting sustainable practices in hospitality and a greener, more ecologically aware management style.
Its commitment to these values led the group to join STAY FOR THE PLANET, a project developed by Lifegate and Best Western Italy, through which Hotels pledge to adhere to sustainable business practices by undertaking concrete actions:
- Continuous monitoring of energy and water consumption
- Waste sorting and recycling
- Promotion of eco-friendly behavior
- Attention to energy efficiency
The ultimate goal is to decrease CO2 emissions by 20% by the end of 2014 through the implementation of energy efficient practices and the reduction of environmental impact with the adoption of environmentally responsible behavior.
The environmental performance of the Hotels is assessed through the evaluation of five different factors, namely Energy, Water, Waste, Purchases and Behavior. Each Hotel then earns 1 to 5 Leaves, chosen as a logo to represent the initiative, depending on the overall points scored.

- BEST WESTERN Quid Hotel Trento – 4 Leaves
- BEST WESTERN Gorizia Palace – 4 Leaves
- BEST WESTERN PREMIER Hotel Sant’Elena – 3 Leaves
