First semester 2014:revenue up by 38,5% (+4,7% on a comparable basis)

As of June 2014, the consolidated financial statements for the H.n.H Group show a 38.5% increase in total revenue. The positive trend reflects a rise in turnover from 6.258 millions in the first semester of 2013 to 9.044 millions recorded as of June 30th of the current fiscal year.

On a comparable scope of consolidation, without taking into account the results of Best Western CTC Hotel in Verona, which joined the Group in July 2013, and the statistics of Almar Jesolo Resort & Spa, which opened in May 2014, the group’s percentage growth rate stands at +4.7% compared to the previous fiscal year.

The consolidated financial statements show a slight decrease (-2.6%) in the average daily room rate (ADR), and record a significant drop in the occupancy rate (-7.5%), which now sits at 63.9%. If, however, we limit the analysis to the scope of consolidation already included in 2013, the ADR shows a decline of only 0.9%, while the occupancy rate increases by 5.7% to an annual average of 73%.

Luca Boccato, CEO of the Group, comments on these results: “ despite the fact that these are only partial and approximate figures, my views on these first 6 months are extremely positive. The market context is still burdened by the business component, which is still weak at national level. Our group has been very busy with the opening of Almar, the first 5-star Hotel in Jesolo and the Group, which, after the initial challenges of the start-up phase, we believe has excellent growth opportunities towards the targets set by the Group”.
