Hotels and Resorts, closed the first six months of 2018 with operating income of 14.3 million Euro, a 2% increase over the previous year\u2019s 14.05 million Euro<\/strong> (on a like-for-like basis and therefore not including data pertaining to the Adriatic Palace Hotel in Jesolo, now outside the perimeter), in line with the expectations and the budget set for the current year.<\/p>\n<p>An analysis of the key performance indicators confirms an <strong>occupancy growth of 2.7%<\/strong>, from 71.2% in the first half of 2017 to this year&#8217;s 73.2%.\u00a0 <strong>The overall data (RevPAR)<\/strong>, which indicates the revenue generated per available room, <strong>recorded a 0.9% growth<\/strong>, while <strong>the average daily room rate (ADR) showed a slight decline, down 1.6%<\/strong> to \u20ac 99.6 in the first half of 2018 compared to \u20ac 101.2 in the first six months of 2017.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-88 size-full\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Grafico-ING_0.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"965\" height=\"627\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hnh.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Grafico-ING_0.png 965w, https:\/\/www.hnh.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Grafico-ING_0-300x195.png 300w, https:\/\/www.hnh.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Grafico-ING_0-768x499.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 965px) 100vw, 965px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Luca Boccato, the Group\u2019s CEO, commented<\/strong>: <em>&#8220;<strong>We are satisfied with the results achieved in this first semester<\/strong>, substantially in line with those of last year, which proved to be truly remarkable for the hospitality sector, resulting in performance beyond expectations. <strong>Some of our destinations are operating successfully<\/strong> and experiencing a considerable increase in arrivals, particularly Verona and Bologna. T<strong>he Venice area, on the other hand, is seeing a substantial increase in room availability<\/strong>, as a result of alternative accommodation offered by private channels. <strong>In Jesolo, the increasing presence of loyal guests and the accolade of important international awards confirms the appreciation for the quality of our leisure facilities.<\/strong> <strong>Finally, we remain confident for the remainder of the year,<\/strong> supported by the positive performance of the first weeks of the summer season, which <strong>is expected to close in line with forecasts, at around 34 million Euros in turnover&#8221;.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>H.n.h.
